Madresa Maulavi accused of raping 7 yr old girl nabbed in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Police nabbed a temporary teacher cum Maulavi of a Madrasa in Ishanpur police station area here for raping a seven year old student today.
PI of Ishanpur J R Zala said that the 22 year old Maulavi, a native of Bihar, was nabbed for raping a seven year old girl student who was a local.
‘The Maulavi raped the girl this morning who informed her family members. He has been booked under The Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Posco Act),’ the PI said.
The accused used to live in Ishanpur area for the past two years and used to assist the main maulavi and teacher of the Madrasa.
