New ARTO office opens at Bavla; new RTO code GJ – 38 comes into existence

Ahmedabad has got third RTO office, this one an ARTO office at Bavla on the outskirts of city. The other two RTO offices in Ahmedabad are located within the Ahmedabad city – the main one near Subhash bridge and the other one in the eastern area.
Rs 13.50 crore ARTO office at Bavla will mainly serve the needs of heavy vehicle passing and Ahmedabad district citizens from Bavla, Dholka, Dholera etc areas.
Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel inaugurated the new ARTO office along with ministers Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Vallabhbhai Kakadia.
With opening of this new ARTO office, a new RTO code has come into effect which is GJ – 38.
