– After her five-day police custody was over, the court in Delhi sent a woman accused in Valsad Lok Sabha MP KC Patel honey-trap and blackmail case to one day judicial custody. Accused woman will be produced again in court tomorrow.

– Fire broke out on third floor of Akash complex in Boghani street of Rajkot Soni Bazar. Five persons including three firemen suffered burn injury due to blast in gas cylinder due to over heat. Fire Brigade staff and police rushed to the place and first removed gas cylinder from the building.

– One-day session of Gujarat Assembly will be held on 9th of May to pass Goods and Services Tax(GST) bills.

– Three persons were injured, one of them critically injured due to falling of tree near Victoria garden(Tilak Baug) today. The tragedy happened close to weekly Gujari Bazar which attracts thousands of people to this place.

– A woman who was dragged by crocodile in Narmada river in Bhalod village of Jhagadia taluka of Central Gujarat passed away yesterday.
