Somnath: Visitors at Somnath mandir will have new option to keep their mobile phone safe outside. For security reasons, one can not take mobile phone inside the Somnath temple campus. At present there’s a facility of general locker room in which people put their mobile phones. While the present facility is safe and there has been never a complain regarding it, Shri Somnath Trust in order to offer even better facility is going to open a new password protected digital locker setup in which you can put your mobile and even charge it.

A Rajkot based private company which intends to put up this facility at all major pilgrim places, bus depots and mall etc places has for the first time installed it here at Somnath. There will be total 240 digital lockers in air conditioned room with two employees and security jawan.

The facility will be opened by Chairman of Shri Somnath Trust Keshubhai Patel on Ashadhi bij.

The facility will be chargeable(Rs 10).
