Emissary of centre on GST issue and union minister Mansukh Mandaviya meet business bodies in Rajkot

Rajkot: Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya today hold several meetings with the representatives of around 30 Industry, trade and business bodies here in an attempt to resolve the issues pertaining to GST.

Mandaviya who had talked to traders and businessmen in Surat yesterday as emissary of union government to understand there points of protest and finding a way out to end the stalemate, today met with their counterparts here.

He had discussions with representatives of local Chamber of Commerce, Rajkot Engineering Association, Builders Association, Ceramic Association Morbi, Greater Chamber of Commerce, Marketing park Dalal Mandal, Mini Cement Plant Association, Cement product Association, Petroleum Association and Consumer’s associations among others.

They were given guidance with regard to many of their queries while the issue related to policy matters would be tabled before the GST council.

Mandaviya, who is to visit several Industrial cities for listening to the issues pertaining to GST, said that if the need be seminars would be organized to clear confusions on several issues.
