Gandhinagar: Opposition Congress party has formed alliance with Bharatiya Tribal Party(BTP) led by JDU Sharad Yadav faction MLA Chhotu Vasava. It is learnt that Congress has given 3 seats to BTP to fight on BTP’s own symbol while on other 3 seats, BTP candidates will contest on Congress symbol.

BTP candidate and former MLA Mahesh Vasava will contest from Dediapada seat while MLA Chhotu Vasava will contest from Jhagadia seat and Uttam Vasava from Mandvi seat. Dediapada, Jhagadia and Mandvi will witness polling in first phase. BTP will contest these three seats under own symbol.

BTP candidates Anil Bhagat will contest from Ankleshwar seat in Bharuch district on Congress symbol. Similarly two more BTP candidates will contest from Morva Hadaf and Vaghodia seats of Central Gujarat in the second phase under Congress symbol.
