Delhi based leading Plastic raw material company to set up its largest plant in Gujarat

Calco Poly Technik, the Delhi based leading providers of High Performance Engineering Plastics, Color and additives solutions for the Plastic Industries, has planned to set up its largest manufacturing facility in the country in Gujarat in next 3 to 4 years.

Director of the company, with a plant of 20000 MT in Haryana and another with same capacity coming up there, Varun Gupta told newsmen here that his company has planned to set up its largest plant somewhere near Pipavav or Mundra Port in Gujarat.

‘We are investing Rs 50 crore in our second plant in Haryana but the Gujarat plant would be of much larger proportion. It would be situated somewhere close to Pipavav or Mundra port. The Gujarat plant would be export oriented and will also cater to the vast domestic market especially the automotive sector in the state which is known as the plastic hub of the country,’ Gupta said.

He said that he was in Gujarat to participate in PlastIndia, one of the largest global exhibition, to be held in Gandhinagar from tomorrow till February 12.

‘After this event we will start strengthening our network in the state keeping in view the proposed manufacturing unit in the state,’ he said.

He said that his company has so far also helped over 1000 companies develop new products serving diverse markets such as electrical & electronics, packaging, appliance, agriculture, Automotive, Home and Construction.
