LCB arrests one for illegal cultivation of opium poppy in Surendranagar district of Gujarat

Surendranagar:
The local crime branch (LCB) of police has arrested a man in Velala village under Muli Taluka of Surendranagar district for illegal cultivation of opium poppy.
Police said that on a tip off the cultivation of opium poppy on around 2 vigha land in the village was detected.
A man was arrested in this connection. The crop was almost ready. It would be destroyed.
