Gujarat CM supports PM’s notion to simultaneously hold assembly-loksabha elections
February 27, 2018
Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today stated that for the continuous growth of states and nation, it is better that the assembly and loksabha elections should be held simultaneously.
In a formal talk with the media, Mr. Rupani said that the simultaneous holding of assembly and loksabha elections would result into saving of time, human power and money. In addition, it would also not interrupt the developmental works which otherwise get hampered by the implementation of the code-of-conduct.
The Chief Minister also opined that the elections for various local bodies should also be held together.
