Gandhinagar: Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) selection committee has selected five senior officials of Gujarat Police for Indian Police Service(IPS).

They are NK Amin, SV Parmar, AM Muniya, MJ Chavda and Usha Rada.

The name of NK Amin has been included in the list provisionally subject to clearance in the criminal proceedings pending against him in encounter case.
