New mechanised cleaning service starts at Ahmedabad railway station

Ahmedabad:
The new mechanised cleaning service at Ahmedabad railway station started from today.
DRM Dinesh Kumar on the occasion said that M/s Dynamic Enterprises of Ratlam has got the contract for the same from today.
‘It will use 32 cleaning machines and 166 workers for cleaning services on all the 9 platforms operating platforms, the two foot over bridges and the circulating area towards Kalupur along with the waiting rooms,’ the DRM informed.
He said that the cleaning services would be under CCTV monitoring.
‘Apart from this feedback from commuters would also be taken. For the purpose and get the ratings by commuters Feedback machines have already been installed on the station,’ he said.
