Borsad observes strike against vandalization of 11 idols by unidentified persons

Borsad: Central Gujarat town Borsad is observing strike today protesting against vandalization of 11 Hindu idols in local Kailash bhumi Antim dham cremation place. The strike call has been given by Anand district Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal.
The incident took place on Jalaram Jayanti. Police had taken an application and probed into the matter but none was nabbed.
This is second time when murtis in Antim Dham are vandalized by unidentified person(s).
Hindu organization Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) organized a rally from Mahakaleshwar temple to Mamlatdar office demanding accused to be nabbed.
Janta Bajar, Vasad Chokdi, Anand Chokdi, Bus-stand etc areas observed strike today following bandh call. Even Muslims joined the strike and kept their businesses closed.
