Surat Railway Station to have 100 ft tall flag mast with tricolor

Surat: Surat railway station will have a 100-ft tall flag mast with national tricolor on December 31st for which Rs. 42 lakh tender has been floated. Foundation for this tricolor will be ready by December 29th. The high mast tower will come up near auto rickshaw stand. It will be visible in night-time through special focus lights. Surat railway station is 60 ft high. The flag will be 40 ft above it.
