Mumbai – Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express now having a library

Mumbai: Premier train on Mumbai – Ahmedabad route, Shatabdi Express has now got a 70-book library on board. Western Railways has introduced a library in Shatabdi Express with effect from 1st January 2019.
Commuters will be able to have free access to the library. They can pick up a book of their choice for the duration of the journey and return it before leaving the train.
Railways had earlier started library facility in two Central Railways trains namely Deccan Queen and Panchvati Express in monthly season ticket coaches.However for Western Railway, Shatabdi has become first train to have library facility.
