Sabarkantha police warns NHAI of homicide section in case of accidental death due to poor condition of highway

Himmatnagar: Due to very bad condition of the stretch of national highway number 8 passing through Sabarkantha district of North Gujarat, the District Superintendent of Police (SP) has written a letter to National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) that roads need to be repaired immediately in view of upcoming Bhadarvi Poonam fair at Ambaji. SP Chaitanya Mandlik has in his letter also warned NHAI that in case of any accident due to poor condition of highway, police will file case add section pertaining to homicide against the officials of NHAI and related contractor.
