ACB nabs lady officer in Gujarat taking bribe for renewal of job contract

Dahod : The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed red-handed a lady officer in Dahod taking bribe of Rs 15000 from a contractual employee for job extension.
Assistant Director of the ACB DP Chudasma said that Jayaben H Parmar, CDEPO Jhalod and program officer in ICDS office Dakshaben Chauhan had sought the bribe from a contract based block coordinator for renewal of his contract for another term.
Today the CDEPO was nabbed red handed in her residence during a trap laid by the ACB. She had sent a whatsapp message to the program officer who is currently on leave, about taking the money on her behalf.
