December 24, 2019
Ahmedabad: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will inaugurated the 14 th edition of Gujarat’s biggest property show GIHED CREDAI show here on December 27.
The three day event has been organized jointly by the Gujarat Institute of Housing and Estate Developers (GIHED) and the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI).
Addressing a joint press conference here today President of GIHED CREDAI Ajay Patel and CREDAI Gujarat chapter president Ahsish Patel said that more than 150 RERA approved real estate projects by over 65 leading developers in Ahmedabad would be show-cased in the event to be held at the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Center till December 29.
They said that in addition to the real estate players, banks, housing finance companies and allied industries would also participate in the show.
To a query they claimed that despite a visible slowdown in the realty sector across the country, Ahmedabad city was not impacted by it.
‘Even as the inflation rate in the past few years has been in the range of 5 to 6%, property prices in Ahmedabad have more or less remained stable but it is likely to go up in view of higher land prices and increase in costs of construction materials. Moreover buyers sentiment is improving and inventory levels are falling, which is having a positive impact on the market. The declining interest rates have also spurred the demand,’ said Ashish Patel.
He said that apart from CM Rupani, Deputy CM Nitin Patel, Revenue Minister Kaushik Patel and Energy Minister Saurabh Patel would also remain present on the occasion of inauguration of the show.
