17 who arrived from abroad held from Gujarat-bound trains

Mumbai: Western Railway today detrained 17 passengers returning from Dubai, Singapore, Thailand and France during their journey to Gujarat and handed over them to medical authorities.
All of these 17 passengers were having quarantine stamps on their hands and they were detected travelling in Kutch Express, Rajdhani Express and Saurashtra Express trains.
Four passengers were detrained a day ago also in Mumbai while travelling to Gujarat.
Those who are prescribed home quarantine at the airport on their arrival from coronavirus-hit countries abroad are required to follow strict distancing and isolation rules. Maharashtra government has made breach of home quarantine a punishable offence.
