Analysis of Coronavirus related Mortality in Gujarat ( 67 deaths )

Gandhinagar: Analysis of 67 Covid19 cases in Gujarat so far in which patients died –

Vulnerability factors wise death analysis

-No risk factor or comorbidity in patients but death = 7 deaths, 10.44% of total deaths

-Risk factor but no comorbidity = 4 deaths, 5.9% of total deaths

-One comorbidity = 21 deaths, 31.34% of total deaths

-Risk factor plus multiple comorbidity = 35 deaths, 52.23% of total deaths

Note:

Risk factors = Age above 60 or below 05 and pregnant women

None of deaths in Gujarat in pregnant women category of risk factors

Comorbidity = Diabetes, heart problem, blood pressure, kidney problem

Age wise death analysis

0-4 years: 01 death (1.49%)

5-14: 01 death (1.49%)

15-44: 6 deaths (8.95%)

45-59: 22 deaths (32.85%)

60: 37 deaths (55.22%)

Ahmedabad – 34

Surat – 10

Vadodara – 7

Bhavnagar – 4

Anand – 2

Gandhinagar – 2

Bharuch, Patan, Kutch, Botad, Jamnagar, Arvalli – 1 each
