Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has appointed officers as the Nodal officers to co-ordinate with Nodal Officers of States/Union Territories to facilitate smooth movement of stranded Gujarati students, travelers, pilgrims and professionals across state borders. These officers will coordinate with their counterparts from other states and will guide the district administration in movement of persons.
This move is linked to the Central government order yesterday in which the Ministry of Home Affairs, allowed interstate movement of migrant workers, stranded pilgrims and students etc subject to consultations between sender and receiving states and adherence to health/safety protocols.
