9 area removed from micro-containment zone list; 15 including Maninagar Swaminarayan Gaadi added by AMC

Ahmedabad: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has removed 9 areas from the list of micro containment zones. AMC has also at the same time declared 15 new areas as micro containment zones and added them to the list.

The areas that are removed from the list are Sukhramnagar, part of Khodiyarnagar, Jantanagar, Kumbhaji ni chali, Tavakal Vila, Shre Nand Nagar block B, Vinakunj society, Jay Shefali and Javed Park.

The areas added in the list as micro containment zones include Muktajivan Swaminarayan Sevashram (Maninagar Gaadi Mandir) in Maninagar, part of Akruti townshipp, Karnavati park society, Cansas Devasya, Luv Kush heights, Jay Mitra society, part of Tulsi Park society, Portion of Saubhagya Apartment, Chanakyapuri, Shayona City, Shaifali Apartment, Aazam Society, Sainath Society, Mahavir Nagar and a street near Radha Krishna temple.

It’s worth noting that several saints in Maninagar Swaminarayan Gaadi Mandir are hospitalized for treatment of Coronavirus. Gaadi’s current religious head PP Swami is also under treatment of Covid19 at ICU of private run CIMS hospital.
