Asian Games gold winner Sarita Gayakwad appointed as DySP in Gujarat Police

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has appointed Asian Games gold medalist girl Sarita Gayakwad as DySP in Gujarat Police. Minister of State for Home, Pradipsinh Jadeja made this announcement today on micro blogging website Twitter. Gayakwad had won 4×400 meter relay race in 18th Asian Games. Jadeja congratulated Sarita on her appointment as DySP on auspicious day of Durga Ashtami during Navratri. Sarita hails from tribal populated southern Gujarat district Dang.
