Locals seek monthly pass system at Kamrej Toll Plaza

Surat: Thousands of people who pass through Kamrej toll plaza for daily job/business at Kim, Pipodra etc paces from Surat need to pay Rs. 20 toll every time. The locals demand monthly pass system for this particular toll plaza. On Sunday, large number of people gathered at toll plaza and blocked the road. They argued that while Bhatiya toll plaza, Rs. 265 monthly pass is sufficient for unlimited movement, Kamrej toll plaza has provision of payment of Rs. 20 toll tax for every movement. Those involve in business nearby would need to pass through the toll plaza multiple times a day and therefore monthly pass system should be introduced.
