Night curfew now only in 8 cities of Gujarat; Coaching/Tuition classes allowed now

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has taken a decision to continue night curfew in only 8 municipal corporation areas of the State.

This means, the night curfew will continue only in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Juangadh and Gandhinagar. It has been in latest lifted from Bhuj, Morbi, Patan, Mahesana, Bharuch, Navsari, Valsad, Ankleshwar and Vapi.

From July 10, curfew will be effective in 8 municipal corporation areas during 10 pm to 6 am until 6 am on July 20.

Entrance exams of schools, colleges and other competitive and recruitment exams are allowed to be held with adherence to covid guidelines and standard operating protocols (SOPs).

Coaching and tuition classes for class 9 to post graduate students and candidates of all competitive exams are allowed with 50 per cent of total capacity in batch wise manner as per SOPs. DeshGujarat
