Cruise Albatros arrives at Alang shipbreaking yard after final journey

Bhavnagar: Altroz Cruise with luxurious facilities and a capacity of 900 passengers has arrived for breaking in plot number 120 of Alang Ship Breaking Yard in Gujarat.

The cruise was manufactured in Finland in 1973 and it was previously named Albatross. The ship is 177 metres long and 25 metres wide and it has 10 floors. It has amenities including a luxurious restaurant, cinema, swimming pool, 2 dining rooms, 6 lounge bars, spa, salon, casino, boutique and gym. The ship is attracting many visitors as a passenger ship has arrived for breaking after a long time in this ship breaking yard.

A Total 300 crew members can be included in the ship and it has 420 state-level cabins. It was bought for a floating hotel project in the Middle-East in 2020 but later it was decided to sell it as scrap. DeshGujarat
