Two Railway Over Bridges open for traffic in North Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel today virtually inaugurated two railway over bridges at Palanpur and Dhanera constructed at a total cost of Rs. 72 crore.
The railway over bridges are located at Mansarovar in Palanpur and Deesa-Dhanera highway at Dhanera.
The one at Palanpur is 1,395 meter long two lane bridge readied at a cost of Rs. 41.53 crore with 8.40 meter width and 5.50 meter service road.
The one at Deesa is located on Deesa-Dhanera new national highway. it is a four-lane railway over bride which is 865 meter long with 72 meter central bridge portion and 655 meter approach portion along with 3.50 meter wide service road on both sides of the bridge. The bridge connects Dhanera and Tharad talukas of Gujarat with Raniwada and Sanchot talukas of Rajasthan.
He said a 58-km stretch of 588 km Delhi – Mumbai corridor will pass through Gujarat State and the works on this stretch are near completion. DeshGujarat
