Now you can do 4D Jalabhishek at Somnath Shivling, get a photo too

Prabhas Patan: Today on the occasion of Somvati Amas, Shri Somnath Trust launched a 4D Project giving a virtual experience of Jalabhishek on the Shivlinga, to the devotees at Shri Somnath Mandir.

The 4D project is set-up in a room near the cloakroom in the campus of Somnath Mandir. A 360-degree high resolution camera, a screen, a Kalash and set-up resembling the Garbh-griha of the mandir are arranged in this room.

The visitors will be required to pour water in the kalash but the 360-degree camera will create an image showing that the person is pouring water or doing Jalabhishek on the actual Shivlinga of Shri Somnath Mandir. Devotees will be able to get a photograph of the same at a charge of Rs 150. DeshGujarat
