A devotee donates 500 gram gold to Ambaji Mandir

Ambaji: A devotee donated 500 grams of gold worth around Rs 24 lakh 50 thousand to Ambaji Mandir for the making of golden peak or ‘shikhar’ of the mandir.

A person named Navneetbhai Shah from Ahmedabad has donated 500 grams of gold to the mandir today on the occasion of Bhadarvi Poonam. He donates 1 kg of gold each year from the last 20 years. The work of making the Amabji mandir golden is under progress and many devotees are donating gold for it. Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust and the state government have executed Suvarna Yojana for the donation of gold from devotees for this work. DeshGujarat
