SMC seals a school for 7 days after covid19 case detected

Surat: Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) sealed Vidhyakunj School of Rander Zone for 7 days after a student of Class 8 tested positive for Covid-19.
A female student of Class 8 studying at Vidhyakunj School in Palanpur Jakatnaka area of Rander zone tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday- 6th October. She is home qurantined at present and her family members tested negative. SMC has conducted Covid-19 tests of 71 students of the school.
Surat city had reported 4 fresh cases of Covid-19 which included 2 in Rander zone and 1 in each Athwa and Udhna zone. DeshGujarat
