Gujarat govt cuts VAT on ATF by five per cent

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has taken a decision to cut the Value Added Tax (VAT) on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) by five per cent. The new rate of ATF which is used for air transport services will be effective from midnight today (00.00 hours of December 14). The decision has been taken at the level of the Chief Minister, said a note adding that the decision is pro-people and it will boost the tourist activities. DeshGujarat
