From January 2022, vaccine for 15-18 age group, precaution dose for healthcare/frontline workers and 60 plus age group

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today made three important announcements over Covid-19 pandemic and its Omicron variant threat. The Prime Minister asked citizens to stay away from panic and rumors regarding pandemic and described in detail how the country is well prepared against covid pandemic.
His three announcements are:
– Vaccination against Covid to start for 15-18 age group from Monday, 3rd January 2022
– Healthcare and front-line workers to start getting precaution dose of vaccine from Monday 10 January 2022
– Option of precaution dose for those above 60-year age and having comorbidity will be available from 10 January 2022 on their doctor’s advise
