RTO officials, agents held by Police in Surat in driving license scam

Surat: The RTO officer here has filed FIR over illegal practice of issuance of driving license without driving test in Pal RTO office of Surat.
Police has nabbed Surat RTO office’s assistant motor vehicle inspector Nilesh T Mewada, Sahil Shahnawaz Vadhvaniya, Indrasinh Khumansinh Dodiya, Jash Mehulbhai Panchal and 3 RTO agents in this case after the FIR was filed with Cyber Crime Police under IPC section 406, 465, 467, 468, 120 (B) and IT act section 66 (D) on 20th January by RTO official.
The covid-19 report of the accused Nilesh Mewada came to be positive following which he is quarantined under police custody as per the guidelines of the court. The accused officials will also attract departmental actions. DeshGujarat
