GSSSB recruitment exams postponed

Gandhinagar: The exams for Bin Sachivalay service Karkun and Sachivalay service Office Assistant that were to be conducted by Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandagi Mandal of the State government are postponed for now.
Over a million candidates were to appear in these exams to compete for 3,901 vacant posts of class-3. The exams were to be conducted on February 13. The exams had been postponed on past occasions too twice.
According to a note released by Secretary of Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandagi Mandal, the exams have been postponed for administrative reasons and a new date will be declared soon.
AK Rakesh, a new Chairman in-charge of GSSSB said, the previous chairman has stepped down, and I have taken a charge as a new chairman, and therefore some procedures require to be done afresh and so the exams are postponed. The new dates shall be announced soon, mostly within a week or two, he added DeshGujarat
