Sabarmati: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi is likely to inaugurate the Gujarat Khel Mahakumbh 2022 from Sardar Patel Stadium at Navrangpura in Ahmedabad on 12th March.

Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has started the preparations for the program as the Stadium comes under its control. The responsibility of venue-side arrangements is allocated to AMC west zone deputy municipal commissioner IK Patel and deputy municipal commissioner CR Kharsan. Both the deputy municipal commissioners, along with officials and employees of the zone and department visited the stadium and reviewed the preparations. The preparations such as painting, cleaning and road repairing is started at the stadium. A meeting of the officials was held on Thursday at AMC office regarding Gujarat Khel Mahakumbh.
