Income Tax searches at premises of Ahmedabad based Urmin Group

Ahmedabad: Income Tax department has carried out search operation at the premises of city based Urmin Group including its headquarters on Sindhu Bhavan road. About teams of Income Tax sleuths have joined the search operation since morning today.

Urmin Group is into Food & Beverages and Hospitality sectors. It owns Baghban party plot, Baghban Aamrkunj in Thaltej and Rancharda areas respectively. It has facilities spread over a 10,000 sq. m. area to cater to production, warehousing and cold storage needs at Changodar unit, Bavla unit, Moraiya unit and also a new upcoming manufacturing plants at Sari and Bavla.

The group has brands like Baghban Bilas, Baghban Hospitality, Baghban Spices, Bansiram, Kalam Design, Ringo, StarNuts, Temptors, Tingles and Urmin Foundation.

The group was founded by late Nanubhai Majithia. His sons Rajendra, Kaushik and Tejas are directors of the company which is registered as Urmin Corporation Pvt Ltd. DeshGujarat
