AM/NS India signs MoU with Skill University to offer steel technology related courses

Hazira-Surat: The Academy for Skill Development, an initiative of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has signed MoU with Kaushalya – The Skill University, set up by the Government of Gujarat, for offering courses related to steel technology. In collaboration with the University, the Academy for Skill Development will run the bachelor’s degree course in Steel Technology, and a two-year post-diploma in Steel technology. The Academy, which is primarily engaged in the training, development, and upskilling of diploma engineers, will train more than 60 youths per year. The Academy will provide all the theoretical and practical training facilities to the candidates, deploy in-house experienced professionals as faculty for imparting the training, provide necessary resources for the functioning of the institute, arrange for on-the-job training, and support in placing the candidates.
