Jamnagar: Nayara energy company, that supplies petrol in 7 districts of Saurashtra from Vadinar refinery in Jamnagar has suddenly stopped supplying petrol from Tuesday.

The seven districts namely Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Amreli, Devbhumi Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Junagadh and Diu (union territory) are likely to witness shortage of petrol due to the stoppage of supply by Nayara energy company.

Federation of Gujarat Petroleum Dealers Association president Arvind Thakkar wrote letters to the civil supply department of state government and other petroleum companies with immediate effect and asked for mediation.
