Restrictions on vehicles on the main road leading to Dakor

Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad police commissioner Sanjay Srivastava has ordered a ban on vehicle transportation on the main roads leading to Dakor from 14th to 18th March, for the safety of pedestrians visiting Dakor during Fagan Sud Poonam fair.

The transportation of vehicles is banned on the route from Hathijan circle to Hirapur chokdi. The heavy vehicles transportation is banned from Jashodanagar char rasta to Hathijan circle. The number of devotees visiting Dakor is likely to increase due to the Fagan Sud Punam mela. The ban is made to prevent the accidents. The vehicles can proceed towards express highway and Aslali ring road from Hathijan circle. They can also proceed towards express highway, and narol circle from Jashodanagar. DeshGujarat
