Gandhinagar: Social justice and empowerment minister Pradipsinh Parmar today launched helpline numbers for the citizens of SC (Schedule Castes) and ST (Schedule Tribes) communities who become victims of atrocities in the state.

The helpline number 14566 and toll free number 18002021989 were launched today by the minister. The SC and ST communities people can complain or take guidance using the helpline over atrocities.

State minister of social justice & empowerment Manishaben Vakil said that the people of SC and ST communities who become victims of atrocities can get helps such as FIR, charge sheets, admissible aids and redressal of their issues at various phases regarding complaint of atrocities through the helpline. It will function for 24*7 basis for 365 days, she said.

The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment of the central government has launched National Helpline Against Atrocities- a self service portal like ultra modern call center for helpline for the citizens of SC and ST communities who became victims of atrocities at state level in each state.
