Mid-day meal scheme to resume across Gujarat from Thursday

Rajkot: The mid-day meal scheme will resume from 29th March in the schools of 9 cities of the state, declared state education minister Jitubhai Vaghani.
The mid-day meal scheme will resume in all the schools of the state from next Thursday.
The scheme was closed from 16th March 2020 in all the schools due to covid-19 pandemic. The total amount of Rs 1300 crore was deposited in the accounts for the students for their meals during the pandemic. The tender process of the scheme is completed within 5 days, as stated in a statement. DeshGujarat
