Several Sarapanchs, others from Congress join BJP in Tapi district

Surat: Total 19 sarpanch of gram panchayats and a large number of congress karyakarta along with their supporters, joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today at Vyara taluka in tapi district, at hands of state BJP chief CR Patil, as stated by BJP in a note.
A karyakarta sammelan of BJP was organized near Shabridham in Vyara taluka. There was special contribution of district BJP in-charge Ashokbhai Dhorajiya and president Jayrambhai Gamit in the program, states BJP.
State BJP chief CR Patil said that the congress doesn’t have any other issues for the elections except the Par-Tapi-Narmada link scheme to incite and deceive the tribals. He said Par-Tapi-Narmada project was signed by the Congress-led UPA government under then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. He said that the development of Gujarat happened because congress has not been allowed to come to power for 26-27 years. DeshGujarat
