Muslim girls marries with Hindu lover; her family members held for ‘kidnapping’ her

Sarkhej: Sarkhej Police have nabbed six persons for allegedly kidnapping a Muslim girl who had married with a Hindu boy after love affair. The girl’s mother is among six persons nabbed.
According to police, a girl namely Simran Multani was kidnapped three months after she married her Hindu lover Lalit Khandvi. Both lovers had eloped and married each other at Arya Samaj mandir in Delhi. The family of Simran was upset with this development as they wanted to marry their daughter elsewhere with a Muslim boy.
According to police, the persons from Simran’s side on April 6 kidnapped her from her Hindu husband’s house in Sarkhej area by using a sharp weapon. Police however arrested the ‘kidnappers’ from Vadodara. Among those nabbed are Zulekha Multani, Taiyab Multani, Javed Multani, Ezaz Sheikh, Siraj Multani and Vijay Parmar. DeshGujarat
