Patan: The state-level function of celebration of Gujarat State Foundation Day on 1st May, will take place in Patan this year.

The preparations for the function of Gujarat Gaurav Din are ongoing at present in Patan. The preparation of the police parade and various cultural programs is ongoing at the ground of the Patan college campus. The function will be organised at the university in the presence of Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and other leaders.

The teams of the Chetak commando, Marine commando, SRP unit, Border range police, Gandhinagar range mahila police, Ahmedabad city traffic police, Ahmedabad city mahila police, Baroda and Surat range mahila police, GRD, homeguard, jail police are preparing for the parade at the function.
