One dies after injury caused by a stray cow

Palanpur: A retired teacher died after a rabid cow severely injured him in Palanpur.

A retired teacher Dashrathbhai Limbachiya (living in ShriRam Nagar society near Gobri road in Palanpur) went to a hospital in front of Biharibag via Activa to meet a relative admitted there. When returning to his home from the hospital, he saw a rabid cow beating others at Egola road near Hanuman Tekri.

He speedily passed beside the cow on his Activa, after which the cow started chasing him. He entered Nilkanth society where he got stuck as there was no way further. The rabid cow overthrew him from the activa and injured him with legs and horns. The surrounding people drove away the cow and called a 108 ambulance. However, he couldn’t survive and died before getting treatment. DeshGujarat
