Gujarat govt adds a chapter on Natural Farming in text books

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has decided to introduce the chapter of natural farming in class-9 books of social science subject. The chapter will gradually added to class-10-11 and 12th syllabus also. This announcement was made today by State education minister Vaghani. He said the subject has been made ready for the textbooks of class-9 for academic year 2022-23 by experts. The minister said that the chapter has been titled as ‘the history of Indian agriculture and introduction of natural farming.The topic will include the history of agriculture i India, ancient self sufficient rural system, the start of green revolution and its results, what is natural farming and why it is the best option etc. DeshGujarat
