PM Modi to launch MMY scheme during his Vadodara visit

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi will launch Mukhya Mantri Matrushakti Yojana (MMY) scheme in Vadodara on June 18.
The state government has declared the scheme with aims of providing nutritious food to mothers and child for 1000 days after the pregnancy and improving their nutrition intake. The ‘Poshan Sudha Yojna’ will also be launched in all the tribal talukas of the state. The females of the tribal areas will be covered in the scheme.
The beneficiaries will get 2 kgs of grams, 1 kg tur dal, and 1 liter groundnut oil from the Anganwadi Kendras each month. DeshGujarat
