Hindu Chaturmas to start from Devpodhi Ekadashi on July 10 this year

Ahmedabad: Hindu Chaturmas (four months period) will start from Devpodhi Ekadashi on Sunday- 10th July this year.
Devpodhi Ekadashi will be celebrated on Ashadh Sud Ekadashi on Sunday-10th July. The pooja and maha aarti are performed in the mandirs on this day. The Hindu Chaturmas will end on Devuthi Ekadashi on 4th November 2022. The Hindu marriages should not be performed during the period of 4 months of Chaturmas because Bhagvan Vishnu remains in Shayan Mudra during this period as per Hindu traditions. The first shubh muhurat for Hindu marriages will arrive on 25th November after the end of Chaturmas.
Hindu Chaturmas include the four months of the Gujarati calendar namely Ashadh, Shravan, Bhadarvo and Aso. DeshGujarat
