5 booked for spreading fake news of terror attack on Rath Yatra

Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad city Cyber Crime Police have booked 5 accused for spreading fake news via YouTube channel claiming about terrorist attacks in Rath Yatra.

The five accused booked for spreading fake news run their Youtube channels.

The five accused along with their Youtube channel are

Jigar Dhamelia (Bhavnagar): JD News,

Tara Bhai Ghanchi (Banaskantha): Education Trend,

Sureshbhai Parmar (Ahmedabad): Gujarati Media News,

Suresh Luhar (Banaskantha): Gujarat Ek Sagar,

Anand Desai (Banaskantha): Yuvraj Rabari Fun Club.

They had allegedly spread fake news of a terrorist attack in Rath Yatra 2022 in the YouTube videos posted by them on their Youtube channel before 5.30 pm on 2nd July 2022.

Three of them are nabbed according to sources.
