ACB nabs two from Home Guard Department in Bribe case

Ahmedabad: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a home-guard quarter master and a home-guard of Naroda Home Guard Division 9 in Ahmedabad city in a bribe case of Rs 1000.
The accused homeguard quarter master Rameshbhai P Patel demanded a bribe of Rs 3000 from the complainant to give him a job for serving in a PCR van of the police station. The amount was later reduced to Rs 1000. The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. ACB found the accused homeguard Manishbhai alias Jagabhai Damodarbhai Mochi taking a bribe of Rs 1000 from the complainant on behalf of the accused homeguard quarter master during a trap executed by ACB. The accused homeguard is detained. The accused homeguard quarter master is yet to be found. DeshGujarat
