ACB Gujarat nabs Drug Inspector and middleman for taking bribe

Palanpur: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has nabbed a Drug Inspector working with Food & Drug Control Administration office in Palanpur along with a private person Ehsanali Dawoodali Takodi who worked as middleman for him.
According to ACB, a complainant had applied for a new license to sell medicines in retail and wholesale manners. The Drug Inspector had demanded Rs. 5,000 for physical visit to the shop of complainant and favorable opinion.
As the complainant didn’t want to pay a bribe, he contacted ACB following which a middleman was trapped and caught an accepting bribe on behalf of the main accused Drug Inspector. The accused Drug Inspector is class-2 official serving with the State government. DeshGujarat
